The jumbo frets have close to no wear on them and the guitar plays extremely well up and down the neck. The guitar has had gentle home use and barely has a scratch on it, save for a bit of wear to the gloss top coat on the horns.Īll electronics work the way they should and the 3 ceramic pickups (nope, nothing wrong with ceramic!) are bright, loud, well defined and punchy. This one really stands out thanks to its photoflame finish and aged pearloid pickguard.Īnother really cool detail is the truss rod adjustment at the heel, which you normally only find on higher end instruments. Some of you will already have spotted the tell tale signs that this is from from the same factory and made to the same specs as Encore and Sun Mustang guitars of the 90's and early 00's. This is an early model Vintage, by JHS (nothing to do with the pedals!), who also does Encore, Supro and a whole bunch of other brands.
